Winter isn’t all cold weather and gray days–it’s peak citrus and cranberry season! Citrus fruit and cranberries pack a mighty nutritional punch in addition to bringing some much needed bold flavors and colors to the season. There’s no better time to make a batch of Cranberry Orange Jam, which also happens to be brimming with full-spectrum hemp extract and phytocannabinoid goodness thanks to the addition of orange flavored CBD Oil.
Adding CBD to your food is a fun way to stay consistent with your CBD routine, but be sure to precisely measure and dose carefully! Make sure to keep any infused foods out of reach of children or pets for their safety.
Homemade jam is so simple to make, and only takes 15 minutes thanks to the pectin-packed cranberries, which thicken the jam quickly. Made with sugar, orange juice and zest, and cranberries, this jam doesn’t require any special equipment or ingredients. Don’t skip adding the orange zest here, though. It makes the citrus flavors really pop with the tart cranberries! Feel free to experiment with spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, or allspice to add complexity and warmth, or try using a variety of seasonal oranges.
This jam is, of course, scrumptious when slathered on a freshly toasted english muffin or buttery scone. It’s also very tasty as a filling for hand pies or as an accompaniment to your cheese board and charcuterie. This jam will keep for a week in the refrigerator.
