I’ve Purchased My CBD Oil… Now What?
You’ve purchased Charlotte’s Web CBD Oil, but aren’t sure how to use it for the best results. Good news: It’s really easy! First, read the directions for use on the product you’ve selected. Then use the dropper included in the bottle. To fill the dropper, gently squeeze the rubber end until it’s empty, insert it into the bottle, and release.
For Charlotte’s Web products, the dropper tube will appear to be about half full which is ~ 0.5 mL and indicates a “full dropper” (important note: the oil will not fill the entire dropper). Two full droppers provides the number of mg of CBD listed on the front label of our 17mg 30mL bottles. This is different from our Original and 60mg 30mL bottles where only one full dropper is needed per serving. See the infographic above to find your sweet spot. Pro tip: It’s best to avoid touching the dropper to your mouth in order to preserve the quality of the product. This is especially important if you’re sharing your bottle with a loved one.
How Should I Use CBD?
Many people like using a CBD oil because it allows them to customize how much they take each time, therefore how many milligrams of CBD they’re consuming.
Oils are also versatile within different lifestyles. We always tell people to test out a few methods of consumption to find what works best for them. Some people add mint-chocolate to their morning routine. Many people enjoy a meditative minute with the oil before swallowing, others keep it on their desk at work or make it a part of their evening routine. Or you can squeeze your favorite flavor of CBD oil into your mouth, swallow and move on with your daily routine. It’s really up to you!
The good news is that there aren’t many “wrong” ways to take Charlotte’s Web CBD oil, but there are a few: our products are not made to be used in any smoking or vaping devices. Charlotte’s Web does not make any vaping products. We also don’t suggest baking or cooking with our CBD oil as high temperatures can impact our products’ effectiveness.
Our CBD oils are crafted with care. The fruit of a lot of love and hard work. Our beloved hemp provides CBD, CBG, CBN, CBC, and other beneficial phytocompounds for a full-spectrum extract of plant-powered goodness. We believe strongly in the Entourage Effect and that’s why most of our products, are full-spectrum hemp extracts. How Many CBD Drops Do I Take? How Much CBD is Too Much?
We provide suggested use details on our product packaging and in the product details on our site. Some people start out with our 17mg/1mL CBD Oil concentration, but later decide to bump up to our Original Formula CBD Oil. Begin by taking the recommended serving as indicated on the package a couple of weeks (4-6 is ideal).

How to Get the Most Out of CBD
While everyone is different, here are a few factors that play into reaching your desired results:
Take the right concentration. For many, 10-20 mg of CBD per day is where they notice their most desired results. As such, some people start out with our 17 mg CBD/1mL hemp extract oil but need to bump it up to our Original Formula (50 mg CBD/1mL) to achieve their personal wellness goals. We recommend taking each serving as indicated on the package for 4 to 6 weeks, tracking your results (or lack thereof) in a journal along the way. Keeping a journal can be a great way to keep track, helping you observe how you feel daily (after all, changes can be small; this can help you identify a difference). After the first 4 to 6 weeks, if you’re still not where you want to be, we suggest upgrading to the next concentration level.
Keep consistent. For any dietary supplement to work properly, it must be taken regularly. Missing days or servings can affect how it’s helping to support your body, so set regular reminders for yourself and establish CBD as a habit for consistency.
