The “MLB Entities” shall mean the Office of the Commissioner of Baseball (“BOC”), its Bureaus, Committees, Subcommittees and Councils, MLB Advanced Media, L.P. (“MLB”), Major League Baseball Properties, Inc., The MLB Network, LLC, the Major League Baseball Clubs (“Clubs”), each of their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and related entities, any entity which, now or in the future, controls, is controlled by, or is under common control with the Clubs or the BOC and the owners, general and limited partners, shareholders, directors, officers, employees and agents of the foregoing entities. 

Upon entering the Sweepstakes, participants agree to waive any rights their state of residence may provide in regards to Sweepstakes or contests. The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law. The prizes are personal to the selected winners and not assignable to any other person or entity.

How to Enter

On Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at 6:00am Mountain Standard Time (“MST”), Sponsor will announce on its websites, social media accounts, blog and relevant press releases that the Sweepstakes is live. To enter, you must submit your entry online at www.recreateyou.com

Participants may also enter the Sweepstakes by sending a self-addressed, stamped envelope to Charlotte’s Web™ All Star Experience Sweepstakes, 700 Tech Ct., Louisville, CO 80027. Mail-in entries must be received by Sponsor by the close of the Entry Period. Alternately, participants can send an email to [email protected] with their first and last name, email address, and phone number by 11:00pm MST on June 30, 2023.

Entries will be accepted from 6:00am MST on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 until 11:00pm MST on Friday, June 30, 2023 (“Entry Period”). Any entry received after Friday, June 30, 2023 will not be eligible. Limit one (1) entry per person/email address, regardless of method of entry.

You understand that you are providing your personal information to Sponsor. The information you provide will only be used by Sponsor, which may use your entry as per the terms outlined in the Official Terms and Conditions and Sponsor’s Privacy Policy at https://www.charlottesweb.com/privacy-policy.

All Sweepstakes entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and Sponsor may use any of the entries for any purpose whatsoever, without further compensation to the entrant. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrant expressly grants Sponsor and MLB a license to use entrant’s name, or other publicly available identifiable information in connection with any publication or other use of that entrant’s entry.

Sponsor reserves the right to amend the Sweepstakes dates and times at its sole discretion and without notice.

Where permitted by law, winners and participants grant to Sponsor, MLB and their subsidiaries, affiliates and those acting pursuant to their authority, the right to print, publish, broadcast and use, worldwide in any media now known or hereafter developed, including but not limited to the world wide web, at any time or times, the winners’ and participants' submissions, names, portraits, pictures, voices, likenesses, the identity of their city and state of residence and biographical information for advertising and promotional purposes without additional consideration.

Restrictions and Limitations of Liability

Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, terminate or modify the Sweepstakes if it is not capable of completion as planned for any reason, including, but not limited to, infection by computer virus, bugs, tampering, unauthorized intervention or technical failures of any kind. All decisions of Sponsor are final. The Sweepstakes is governed by, and will be construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Colorado. Sponsor, the MLB Entitles and each of their subsidiaries and affiliates, their officers, directors, agents, stockholders, insurers, and employees, and their advertising and promotional agencies and Sponsors assume no responsibility or liability whatsoever for damages, loss or injury resulting from participating in any contest or Sweepstakes, or acceptance or use of any prize. Sponsor and MLB are not responsible for late, misdirected, lost, or misplaced entries for any reason, including electronic or computer malfunctions that may affect the delivery or content of the entry, nor are they liable for any injury or damage to entrant’s or any other person’s computer or hardware related to or resulting from participating in or downloading any information necessary to participate in the Sweepstakes. Sponsor shall have no liability for any malfunction of the Internet, Charlotte’s Web website or any other computer-related processor system.

Prize, Prize Conditions & Selection of Winners

One (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected by Sponsor at random from valid entries on Thursday, June 30, 2023, and winner will be notified on or around Thursday, June 30, 2023. Grand Prize winner will receive:

A prize package consisting of round-trip coach class air transportation for Grand Prize winner and one (1) guest between a major U.S. airport nearest Grand Prize winner's residence in the U.S. and the host city of the World Series Game (to be defined) ("WS Host City"); two (2) night hotel accommodations (i.e. one (1) standard, double occupancy rooms) in the WS Host City at a hotel to be determined by Sponsor at its sole discretion; two (2) tickets for the Grand Prize winner and his/her one (1) guest for Game 3 of the 2023 World Series presented by Capital One ("World Series Game"); and admission to the World Series Game 3 pregame batting practice for Grand Prize winner and his/her one (1) guest (collectively, the "Grand Prize"). (Approximate Retail Value ("ARV") of Grand Prize: $4,000.) Actual value of Grand Prize will vary depending on Grand Prize winner's city of departure and WS Host City (and no additional compensation or substitution will be awarded for difference in prize value). 

The prize is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for money or anything of value.

The exact nature and duration of the pregame batting practice experience shall be determined by Sponsor and/or the applicable MLB Entity and subject to availability. Use of any Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition ticket is subject to the standard terms, conditions, and health and safety policies applicable to the ticket; see mlb.com/ticketback for details. Seat locations at the game/event/exhibition and, unless otherwise stated in the prize description, exact game/event/exhibition date shall be determined in the sole discretion of Sponsor. Winner’s guest(s) must be of legal age of majority in his/her(their) jurisdiction(s) of residence unless accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition dates and times are determined in the sole discretion of the BOC and/or the applicable Club and may be subject to change. The terms and conditions of the tickets awarded as part of the prize will govern in the event a legal game/event/exhibition, as defined by Major League Baseball, is not played or held due to weather conditions, an act of God, an act of terrorism, civil disturbance, or any other reason. Winner and his/her guest(s) agree to comply with all applicable ballpark and venue regulations in connection with the prize. Sponsor and the MLB Entities reserve the right to remove or to deny entry to the winner and/or his/her guest(s) who engage in a non-sportsmanlike or disruptive manner or with intent to annoy, abuse, threaten, or harass any other person at the game/event/exhibition. Sponsor and the MLB Entities will not be responsible for weather conditions; acts of God; acts of terrorism; civil disturbances; local, state, or federal regulation, order, or policy; work stoppage; epidemic, pandemic, or any other issue concerning public health or safety; or any other event outside of their control that may cause the cancellation or postponement of any Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition. Major League Baseball game/event/exhibition tickets awarded as prizes may not be resold, offered for resale, or used for any commercial or promotional purpose whatsoever. Any such resale or commercial or promotional use may result in disqualification and prize forfeiture, and may invalidate the license granted by the game/event/exhibition ticket. Participation in the prize event is subject to winner’s (and guest’s) consent to and compliance with all health and safety policies of the MLB Entities, including but not limited to the wearing of masks if and when directed and the requirement to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (i.e., having received a final vaccination dose at least 14 days prior to the event).

How to Claim Prize

Sponsor will contact the winner using information submitted during the Sweepstakes entry by email or mail. Sponsor is not responsible for any changes to or discrepancies with participant contact information. In any event where a winner does not respond to Sponsor within one week of receipt of the email or mail communication, or cannot be located after reasonable efforts by Sponsor, a new winner will be selected.

Disqualification and Penalties

Anyone found using multiple email accounts to enter will be ineligible for the Sweepstakes. All participants agree to be bound by these Official Terms and Conditions and terms of use. Sponsor in its sole discretion, further reserves the right to disqualify any person for (i) violating any of these Official Terms and Conditions, (ii) tampering with the entry process or the operation of Charlotte’s Web website, (iii) gaining an unfair advantage in participating in the Sweepstakes, or (iv) engaging in otherwise disruptive, annoying, harassing, or threatening behavior.

Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to supplement or make changes to these Official Terms and Conditions at any time without notice. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to interpret the Official Terms and Conditions of the Sweepstakes, and such interpretation shall be binding upon all participants.
